How can i write poems well?

I want to tell the guy I like him but I want to write him a poem. But I SUCK with writing poems.Can you help?

    That is the thing, if you write from your heart, it can't look bad. :) just the fact that you write it is what makes it special. And for your information, if anyone ever tells you that it's not good because it doesn't rhyme, then they are wrong. Poems don't have to rhyme to be poems. There are many different types of writing. And rhyming is just one of them. So just start writing and let it all just flow out. Good luck :) and God Bless. :)

think about the one thing you like best about him (physical feature or personality trait etc) and then let that one thing be the last line of your poem. All the lines before that should be some sort of descriptive phrase that leads to the last line (sort of a riddle: list this, list this, list this, then answer it with the trait you love the best) example: sinewy wire black like corded threads soft yet glorious your hair and it doesn't have to rhyme either

My answer is about the least poetic thing ever, so skip it if you wish. Don't do it. If you can't do poetry than don't. There are so many other ways to do something something nice for someone. What if you wrote it and he didn't like it? It happened to my best friend. She was so upset. So other than that good luck!!!!!
