Could I make it as a writer?

• These are two poems I wrote in a fairly short amount of time (like ten mins)...Please be honest and really scrutinize... Can I love you here tonight Beneath the speckled black Aloof the terror and the fright, On this rough cut track. I will whisper to your heart Songs like thunder’s crashing, While we print the mucky earth With the silhouettes of unbridled passion. The trees will spy on our love The leaves will make the spies blind And from our bodies all fear is drove And only freedom now we find. The trickling lake is a concerto That harmonises with our lyrical romance Goodnight my love in gentle gusts Goodnight too to our loving dance. --------------------------------------… Grace I want to make my arms your wings And carry you to heaven’s heights, And doves swoop above in rings To gander upon our passionate flight. In the ground the seeds rise And the roses they’ll become So I can lay before your diamond eye’s A cloud full of red leave plume. I want to see your shape flicker Dance with mine in dulcet dance Lit only by the candles shimmer And love fills our whole expanse. Some distant dog can call to us But we will be deaf to its calls Silenced by our sweaty games To blackness his bark falls. The stars erupt in explosive form To mimic the lovers nestled below And in our hearts a violent storm And the sounds of loves deafening bellow. Tapping again at your back while we sleep My lips caress your neck and ear Clad in the fabric of a love deep Hidden by love’s truth and dare.

  Anybody can make it as a writer, it is just if you want to be a successful writer then start churning it out and sending it off To tired to read you poems, may come back to them tomorrow ))) Just remembered to come back, I am really tired again but managed to read them, think you have potential to have something their, you need to spend a bit more time tidying your poetry, but I would say, do what you have done here and then a day or two later, just make a few alterations to make it flow and ease of the tongue, maybe record yourself saying them and you will know were they need tweeking, keep writing though mate, keep posting them on here as well, poetry is art and I always believe art should be shared
