Best Hudson River Cruise?

Having boy/girl twins. Want to name boy Hudson. What river runs or connects to the Hudson? I?

We want to name our son Hudson Matthew (matthew after my husband) and a name that has 3 syllables that ends with N that goes with the middle name Leigh (my husbands sisters' middle name). I like Vivian Leigh! He doesn't! So to search further, i wandered if there were other rivers that connect to the Hudson River that may b pretty names.? Help! The names I don't want are the "too common names" or names that rhyme with Addi!

    Cute! but i don't think anything surrounding the Hudson is good for a baby girl name. -Opalescent River, Boreas River, Moses Kill River, Batten Kill, Hoosic River Goodnow River, Cedar River (New York), Indian River (New York), Sacandaga River, Snook Kill River, Mohawk River, Normans Kill, Vloman Kill, Coeymans Creek, Hannacroix Creek, Coxsackie Creek Cities surrounding the river- Glens Falls, Mechanicville, Troy, Albany, Hudson, Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, Beacon, Peekskill, Yonkers, New York City, Fort Lee, Hoboken. I live in NJ so i know alot about that lol. but names that are 3 syllables that end in N are Avalon Avalyn Evelyn Lilian Addison Maddison Adrian I think Vivian is nice, hope i helped

The previous person gave most of the info I was about to but I did find a couple names out of there. The Hudson rises at Lake Tear of Clouds on the slopes of Mount Marcy. You could use Marcy as a girl's name. Unfortunately, there aren't that many pretty girl names associated with the Hudson: - Opal (Opalescent River) - Liberty (Liberty State Park) - Lake (Lake Tear of Clouds , the source) - Marcy (Mount Marcy) That is all I could find. Vivian Leigh is cute! I don't know about other river names, but that's a really neat idea.

There's the Red River of the North but it's not too catchy. It doesn't flow into the Hudson Bay, but there's the MacKenzie River **EDIT** There's Jame's Bay that's connected,

I'm not sure abou the Hudson River, but there's a Hudson bay up in Canada and there's a James Bay off that so you could use James.
