Is Shayne a good name for a girl?

i think its more of a boy's name try naming her something like daisy lily or petunia

My neice is named Jamie and EVERYONE thinks she is a boy. It is a constant problem, "OH, I was expecting a boy". Do you want that for your child? Shane is clearly a boy's name..save it for when you have a boy. How about Shayla or Shayna or Shannon or Shanna or Shaylene?

No. Shane is a masculine name. Shayne is just a badly spelt masculine name. How about Shea, or Sinead? Those are quite similar.

Maybe a middle name, but I think it's too masculine, however it's spelled, to be a girls name.
