What are three objectives for a preschool child doing patterns?

Baby names for quadruplets? (Three girls, one boy)?

  • Hi! I'm Nicki, and I'm new to Y!A. My husband and I discovered in April that we were going to have another child, and we just found out we are not having just one child, we are having four! We are going to welcome another little boy, and three little girls to our family, and we have no idea what to name them. Our older sons names are Luke Thomas and Evan Chase. Some names that we like for girls are Avery, Julia, Caroline, Peighton, Clara, Ivy, Sage, Amy, Catharina, and Emily. For boys we like Liam, Connor, Elijah, Adam, Benjamin, Tucker, Julius, Miles, Cole, and Logan. Those are just some ideas we had right off the bat. You don't have to pick and choose from those. They're just to give you ideas on what names we like. So please suggest some of your own that you'd think we'd like, and tell us which of ours you like the best. Oh, and we don't want patterns or anything, we want each to have their own name. Thanks!

    I would drop Avery and Peyton from your girl's list since they are masculine boy's names. They do not go well at all with the lovely, classic names you have chosen for your sons, especially the rubbish spelling of Peyton. Julia, Caroline, Ivy, Clara are gorgeous. I love Julia, Caroline, Clara, Ivy, Amy (you don't see Amy that often anymore!) and Catharina. I like Liam, Elijah, Julius, and Miles. I think that Miles Ashley is a cool boy's name, so is Liam Bradford, Elijah Gerard, and Julius Augustijn. Some other ones for boys are Admiral (if you like REALLY cool names) Cecil, Kenneth Jasper, Solomon Karl, and Whitney Raphael. As for the girls, Julia Agnes, Caroline Augusta, Clara Lucille, Ivy Estelle, Amy Victoria, and Catharina Elise are very neat. Other ideas are Aurelia Rosamund, Octavia Gail, Bridget Josephine, and Mercedes Delphine. If there are any patterns, I didn't mean it.

If you really would like no patterns etc and for them to each have their own name, then don't name the girls names starting with the same letter and the boys as well. So you already have an L name and an E name for the boys so don't pick another boys name starting with either of these. I think Adam and Connor sound nice with the names of your two boys. For the girls I like Clara Peighton Sage Emily In my honest opinion names like Caroline and Julia are jsut too old for baby names these days. Holding a newborn baby girl and looking down calling her Caroline just sounds a bit old. Maybe I'm biased as we have some really old names in the family and I have chosen a different direction for my kids names hope this helps
