What is the Psychoanalytic theory of consumer decision making process?

  I noticed in your questionnaire, and for one of my own, that a javascript routine could 'ghost' certain questions depending on the answers to others making them unnecessary; e.g. employment status followed by the wages question - you'd naturally assume for the unemployed that it's under €500, and that any other answer suggests a 'type' of consumer/circumstances - like someone on disability/social benefits that predetermine 'personal' purchasing decisions up to the amount accredited leaving nothing to speak of, so still under €500... ...So, perhaps if you are looking for that kind of source code to make elements context sensitive and have any success finding and implementing it, I'd also like to know if you don't mind forwarding the details :)
