How to sell my product effectively?

How do I sell their product?

• I am very interested in becoming a reseller for a company (I'll say company A) and starting my own small business (company B). I have talked with a different company (company C) that I have connections with and they are willing to sign a contract with me to purchase the product if the price is right. The problem is the company C that wants my business already has company they buy the product from but the contract is almost over and company C is not satisfied with the customer service they receive. The manager at company A is really great friends with the company that company C buys the product from and I don't think the manager is willing to talk to me. I have called and spoke with the manager and was told to send an email of introduction. I did that but have never heard a response. Company C does not want to switch brands of the product and this manager is the only person that is over the state I live for this product. I'm not sure what my next step should be. I don't want to give up because I know this would be a great business if I could just get it started. I have worked out the process and money, all I have to do is get my hands on the product itself.
