How to distribute my magazine?

Can anyone give me ideas on creating a local classified magazine?

  • I am wanting to create a local businesses coupon magazine. All of the local business in my local area can purchase a business card size coupon for there company for $10.00 a week.Then we can distribute the magazine across the city, sort of like a penny saver. If anyone has ideas on how I can put something like this together, it would be greatly appreciated. 2 months ago

    Print is dead. It is also very expensive. I would consider doing the same thing online and the coupons could then be printed out.

Start with researching what's already being done locally. Google local advertising and see what you find. Would there be enough advertisers to support such a magazine, considering ever increasing printing and delivery costs? Check with Chamber of Commerce and see if they know what is already being done for local coupons. Does your newspaper now have coupons and coupon flyers? Would yours be different enough to attract advertisers?
