What is the best way to advertise a job?

What's the best way to appeal to employers...?

• What is a good and inexpensive way to advertise to local employers about posting a job ad? Flyers are good, but is there anything better?

  I became unemployed at the start of 09 and signed on for job seekers, I registered with every job site I could find and put my CV on the internet site for employers to find, I applied for at lease 3 jobs per day and after 3 months I was offered a great job. Only 3 employers asked me for interview and I was offered all 3 jobs. Unless you advertise in the newspapers which can be expensive i don't think there is any other way to find a job. Good Luck
