I am in the point now of giving up , tomorrow will be my last try ..but, I would like your advice before I took the decision to continue with perseverance or not .... !! should a business startup took that long before getting a result ?

Ok, the single biggest question you need to ask yourself when you start a business is...who are your customers. Don't say everybody! You need to figure out who the most likely people are that would buy from you. You say your business is a guest house, who would use this house? People on vacation? Student? People who cant afford hotels? People who are looking not to stay in hotels? How old are they? What do they look like? The other big question is where do your customer hang out? Can you find your ideal customer? Do they read certain types of magazines, certain newspapers? Are they inclined to be Online or offline? Once you Identify who your customer is, and where they hang out, next you need to find out how you can reach them. Is it through magazine ads, Youtube videos, forums, Craigs list? If you do not know who your customers are you never know how to market to them. You need to learn how to attract customers, not convince people...I hope this makes sense.
