How to mass import emails in salesforce.com?

Is there any auto-responder that allows you to import purchased customer leads?

  • I used AWeber to retrieve customer leads through my web site. However, I wanted to try a different method of getting leads. Actually I'm not paying for it so I'll definitely try it. Ha. AWeber or iContact do not let you send emails to a purchase customer list. Can anyone tell me what auto-responder applications out there will allow me to import my purchased customer leads and send these customers emails without them having to opt in? Of course in all my mass emails, there will always be a link to opt out. I've heard of such applications as JMailerPro, Fire Reply, and Digital Ad Gear. Do you recommend any of these. If yes then why. Or are there any other ones you would recommend. And why? I look forward to all your answers. Thanks again.

  • Answer:

Sounds like The ShareVantage Contact Edition to me. It has a "CSV Import" feature that lets you import leads, then its "Email Blaster" tool lets you send out personalized emails. Unlike the opt-in alternatives, The ShareVantage includes an opt-out tool. "CSV" is "Comma-Separated Value". Excel (and most other spreadsheets) can save in .csv file format.

I have an account with Prosperity Central that imports leads, however, I have not done extensive marketing with this tool, so would not necessarily recommend it or not, but it is an option you may want to look into.
