How can you get rid of red bumps on legs?

How to get rid of ingrown hairs/red bumps on my legs after waxing?

  • I have been waxing my legs for about 2 years now and for the past few months I have had ingrown hairs. They are starting to ride up my legs and not only after I wax but all the time and they don't seem to go away. I exfoliate in the shower every day and I moisturizer after. I wax my legs myself with an at home waxing kit. I don't want to stop waxing, but I do want to get rid of these ugly bumps. I'm sure that they're ingrown hairs. Is Tend Skin a good product for this? Or do you have any other recommmendations? Thanks in advance.

  • Answer:

I usually just take out the ingrown hairs with tweezers when they're ready to be taken out after i take a hot shower. When I get a new ingrown hair, I have to wait a while to take it out, and just be patient and remember HOT water. This might seem weird, but I rub deodorant on after i wax my legs. I also use regular deodorant on my bikini line(not inside the vagina) to prevent them and relieve redness after i wax. I heard of stories of strippers using deodorant on the bikini line so I thought I'd give it a try. And it worked for me. (:
