What to do about a peeling burn?

Can you stop a sun burn from peeling?

  • So this last week I went camping and the weather was amazing, so being my typical self I decided not to use sunscreen the first day cause I wanted to start on my tan (I almost never get sun at home.) Any ways, I got really burnt. The red has died down a bit, but it still has a little red to it. Now it's peeling): Its not the kind of peeling where the skin is hard an it hurts to peel off, it's just flakey, where I could even roll it off. I've been putting noxema on my fce like 3 times a day and aloe on the rest of my body 10+ times a day fort the last 4-5 days. I just started peeling yesterday though. How can I make it stop? it's really unnatractive.

    try looking for lotions with aloe vera in them . but otherwise, its the process because all that burnt skin is "dead" .

its the dead skin cells and they do have to peel off from being damaged all i can say is moisturize !! and next time PUT sunscreen, haha it also stops pre maturing wrinkles!! as well as making your skin look healthier use a self tanner, (they dont usually have spf so remember sunscreen) or theres coconut oil that you put on top of sunscreen that makes you get a tan! have fun in summer,

Nope, sorry, you're kinda stuck! However, you can keep applying lotion in the am and pm to keep the skin hydrated. That way it will peel a wee bit less but also have healthy hydrated skin underneath the peel The good thing is that typically you only peel for a few days. It sucks but you'll get through it.

rub a slice of watermelon on the burns moisturise constantly

Aloe!! And I have heard from a lot of people that if you rub watermelon on it that works, but I've never tried it
