okay... so i shave my pxssy a lot, really well. i have too... because i need all the hair gone. i have a serious boyfriend... and well.. he's down there a lot. having hair down there is really embarassing, but i'm starting to think that the RAZOR BURN is more embarassing. everytime i shave well down there.. i get those stupid little red bumps all over. they're embarrassing, and they hurt! is there a way i can shave or something i can shave with (like oil or something?) that will prevent me from getting the razor burn down there? please help ladies, and thank you!

Answer:
make sure you always use a sharp razor. Dull ones can pull on the hairs and cause irritation. And when you're done shaving use a little bit of sensitive skin lotion on the outer area of your vagina. It will help calm the skin.

Bikini Zone gel will prevent bumps/burn.
Why don't you use Nair, Veet Or Waxing its better than shaving Nair- http://www.naircare.com/bodyzones_bikini.aspx Sally Hansen -Waxing (waxing takes longer for hairs to Grow) http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_query=Nail+Pen&search_constraint=0&tc=0&ic=48_0&ref=+500500.4292590642&tab_value=15_All&adid=1500000000000006955330 Veet-http://www.drugstore.com/templates/brand/default.asp?brand=25533&aid=336064&aparam=veet&scinit1=veet But to prevent here are some webistes that might help http://www.howtogetridofstuff.com/living/how-to-get-rid-of-razor-burn/ http://www.skin-care-recipes-and-remedies.com/razor-burn.html http://www.howtoprevent.com/physical-health/how-to-prevent-razor-burn/
1) Shave in the shower, it softens the hair, 2) Shave with the grain...if you are unsure which way your hair grows rub a cotton ball against your skin a few days after you shave, if it catches then you are going against the grain. Do not shave against the grain if you have sensitive skin. 3) Use a quality shave product that protects your skin, like Cremo Cream (http://www.cremocream.com). People love it because it is so gentle and emollient. 4) If you are super sensitive, use a post shave product like Tend Skin, you can buy it online at drugstore.com (http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=mcRHZzUv9jA&offerid=43440.190633&type=2&subid=0) Tend Skin hopefully should not cause infections because it is made up of alcohol and aspirin... 5) If Tend Skin is too expensive you can actually make a home-made version, just search for "tend skin homemade"
smooth away?
Try exfoliating or not scratching it. I tend to have the same problem and I use a 20 dollar razor, veet and nair do the same aswell just so you know.
Maybe if you shave a little slower it will work. And use Venus embrace, not the other little scrawny shavers
