Need help with white teeth?

So I had a bad habit of not brushing my teeth when I was little . I know that's gross but I'm 15 now and brush all the time but my teeth aren't getting any whiter . Any inexpensive tips to help get my teeth whiter ? Answers appreciated

My mom uses a Mr. Oxi clean toothpaste with baking soda in it which is supposed to whiten them but if you are thinking of gettin like strips for whitening teeth and all you need to talk to your dentist first.
