How to loose tan and have a healthy looking skin?

I have a slightly pale skin and I'm looking to get a good tan this summer. Need help!?

  • I'm 6'1'' around 175, blond hair, brow eyes and really want to get a good tan this summer. Tired of being slightly pale outhere. When I go to the beach my skin mostly burns but not tans please help me lol I want a good tan:) What is the best spf lotion I should use for me not to burn and actually get a tan. Also how many times to go to the beach to get a decent tan. Any advice will be appreciated.

  • Answer:

take it from a long time sun worshipper... do the fake tan! with all the new stuff, it's pretty easy & it looks good - just use the ones that do it gradually sun (tans & burns) look awful later on... sunspots, discoloration, wrinkles - blah but, if you MUST ignore the voice of reason - use a 15 spf & stay out a couple of hours (the trick to a golden brown is to do it slowly - over a few days)

I am really fair. You have to start slow. That is the key. You have to build a base tan and then you can be out longer and longer without getting burned. There isn't really a certain # of times I can say you should go before you are considered "tan" Be careful out in the sun though. It is terrible for your skin. I like to use Neutragena b/c it is good for sensitive skin. Even if you use something high like 40 when you start out you will still get a tan.
