What is a quick way to get rid of a breakout on my face?

  well my face used to break out a lot mainly because i could never find the right face care product to use on my face. but i FINALLY found a routine that works and my skin looks healthy clear. so heres what i use, nothing fancy or expensive, you can find this stuff at the drug store: first i wet my face with warm water and take off my eye makeup. i use PONDS deep cleanser & makeup remover-the cool cucumber classic. just dab some on your eyes and it take the makeup right off and smells good. then i exfoliate my face with OLAY warming deep purfying cleanser. it warms up your skin and really takes the dirt and oil out. (only use this at night though because exfoilators can dry out your skin if you use it too much) then i wash with CETAPHIL gentle skin cleaner for all skin types. this is very gentle and helps to soften and smooth out the skin. then rinse your face with COLD water (the cold water closes up your pores, which not only makes them smaller but prevents dirt oil and makeup from getting into your skin after you've just washed it. i then put on OLAY complete ageless skin renewing UV lotion on my face. it's a lightweight moitureizer that locks in the moisture and keeps your skin looking young. lastly before i go to bed i dab CLEARASIL ultra rapid action treatment cream on any blemishes or red spots on my face. it visably reduces the pimple size over night and gets rid of redness. granted it doesn't zap the zit away overnight but use it a couple nights in a row and it was start to look better. you can use it on spots where you start to feel a breakout comming on too to prevent them. as for the acne scars, i've got them too. theyre very difficult to get rid of but you can try miderma cream on them to lessen the redness of them. otherwise i just put some concealer on before goingout and they dissappear! hope this helps!
