Anybody ever tried honey milk mask?
-
Hi everyone, I am planning to start this honey and milk mask that it's supposed to get rid of dark/red spots but I am currently an acne sufferer and I am wondering if it will cause more break outs if I use it or not. The reason why I think it's going to cause more break outs is because it will clog the pores if I apply it and clogged pores leave to acne. What really makes hard to apply it, is that the places where I have the dark/red spots, I also have pimples and those are the places where I usually get the break outs. Do you recommend it to me or not? Will I have more break outs? I would like an answers from somebody that has tried it. Thank you all.

Answer:
depending on what your skin type is and how you go about washing your face is a big contrubitor to acne. so are horomones/genes. if you have dry skin and dont moisturize and over-wash your face with acne products, this will give you even more acne. If you have dry skin, always use moisturizer after any water comes into contact with your face. stop using acne products to wash your skin. if you have oily skin, stop using acne products to wash your face. use something called, "the oil cleansing method" to wash your face only and moisturize afterwards. you can find how to use this method to clear your acne here : http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/ i have combination skin, meaning its oily in some parts, dry in some parts and normal in some parts. So ive been around the block when it comes to getting rid of acne, being a sufferer for over nine years (started getting it at the age of eight) i know pretty much everything there is to know about acne quick fixes. for me, my favourite method is the lemon-orange peel face mask. cut half a lemon into pieces, peel an orange and throw the orange peels and the orange with the lemon into a blender. add a bit of water until the contents are blended into a paste that is thick like tooth paste. apply this to your skin once every other day for about ten minutes and rinse off. the acid in the mask gets rid of bacteria and acts as a natural exfoliant, thus clearing your acne away. always remember to moisturize your skin no matter what kind of skin you have.
