How to get rid of unwanted facial and body hair naturaly?

hallo i am a really hair person and dont like it alot...i was wondering if any of u know how to lighten or get rid of facial and body hair without buying stuff from the store..i used to buy face cream but i want to see if there is anyting cheaper or something i can use from home.. i also tried waxing my back n belly but its toooo much work and they grow back thicker :-(....its really embarrasing to show my hairy back to my husband..please someone help
