Bleeding, super swollen stretched ears?

Stretched ears bleeding.?

• After having my ears at a 0g for about 6 years I decided to go up to a 00g. I had them stretched but my piercer put on o-rings which I'm allergic to (honest mistake. I have about 6 things I'm allergic to, that I know of, so it happens. I'm sure there's more). I took them off almost immediately but the damage was done. I don't now what it is about them but I'm severely allergic to them. I always wore double flares to avoid the o-rings and I guess I neglected to tell him about the allergy. They're now all bloody and disgusting. I don't want it to effect my healing so I need to know if there's anything I can do about it.

  you're probably either allergic to nickel, REALLY common, or latex. I don't pretend to be a piercing specialist, I work in medicine. You need to start on benedryl, or another antihistamine to get the reaction under control, clean your ears, and go back to whatever you WERE using that fit. They now have the potential to shrink down a bit from scarring, and you'll need to curb that without the added challenge of trying to scale up a size. You also need an allergy testing, so you can avoid whatever it is you're allergic to. It seems a no-brainer, but many people never have it done, and can create LASTING damage to their epidermis.
