I have been battlling red, dry, flakey skin on side of nose and eyelids?

and eyebrows. derm said its dermatitis and gave me cortisone creams which are not good because they thin the skin. by chance i have been rinsing my face daily w/ vinegar and warm water. my skin looks much better. is this damaging to my skin in any way?

ive got the same problem i doubt vinegar will harm your skin in any way, its a food ingredient after all. you might want to talk to your dermatologist just in case, though. and hey, i might try this so...thanks!
