How old do you have to be to get your ears pierced without consent?

  • im going to glasgow in a few days with my sister who is 17. im 15. and we're both getting our ears pierced there. but my parents wont be there. can i still get it done without their consent? they say im allowed but they're just busy that day. thaaaaanks :)

One of your parent's has to sign a consent form. In the US to get a piercing, you have to either be an adult or have an adult sign the consent form. No good, Professional piercer would piercer you without a Signature The consent form has to be signed by an adult who is the responsible part, Period.

you have to have a parent's consent and a parent present when getting any piercings before you turn the age of 18. your sister wont be able to get her ears pierced either. just go another day.

It's 16 without consent everywhere I've been in the UK and Ireland. Sorry. Some shops may even refuse your sister if they set their ages higher and they're allowed to do that.
