What to put in my ME-BAG?

What can you put on your skin before you put on your make up?

  • So I was wondering, is there anything I could put on my skin before I put my make up on? My usual make up is just mascara and a little eyeliner (usually on the bottom) and I was just wondering if there was anything that was good for the skin that I could put on my face before I put on my make up. I have like, this foundation sponge thing which I could use to dip into something and put onto my face (and I have some other brushes aswell). I'm not talkign about putting foundation or concealer or anything like that to hide anything, I mean like just something that drys/soaks into my skin quickly which is good for the skin and stuff.

  • Answer:

You can use a face primer. I use one from Urban Decay 25$ kind of pricey but your makeup stays on longer and you dont have any oil or anything works amazing. Covergirl and other brands like that make face primers too for less cost .

Moisturiser and/or primer. They make your skin soft.

Use a good moisturizer, it will make your skin look rejuvenated. My friend massages her face to get the blood flowing will makes her face look healthy

A good moisturiser suitable for your age and skin type.

Well before you do your make-up there are several things that you should do to make your skin better :) and they are.... 1. wash face with water 2. use a cleanser, put some of it onto cotton wool and just wipe it on your face 3. use a toner, put some of it onto cotton wool and just wipe it on your face 4. use a good moisturiser that suits your skin type then you can do your make-up and then your skin stays niiccceeee and ssoooofffttt :D instead of using foundation which i think is bad for the skin, use a tinted moisturiser :)

I use a bit of facial moisturizer before I put on my makeup. Just apply a small amount, then allow about 5 to 10 minutes before you continue with your makeup routine.

Try putting some moisturizing cream/lotion on your face. This will help to hydrate your skin before you put makeup on, reducing its less desireable effects of dry, oily, or patchy skin. Next, I'd suggest to use foundation, because it's just that. Don't be afraid to use it because you don't have any blemishes you want to cover up - it's just a base for the rest of your makeup, so that the makeup won't slide or smear away. You could even try a facial powder - so that it won't be as heavy as foundation, but will still help to anchor the rest of the makeup. After you put those on, proceed with your makeup routine. You'll look fabulous in no time :)
