What is the best way for me to start getting a tan using a tanning bed?

  • I am very very pale skinned....It usually takes me 3 to 4 months to even get a base tan started from tanning in a tanning bed...What is the best kind of tanning lotion (bronzer) that will help me build my tan quicker and keep it longer? Also do i need to get a "tingle" lotion? I get very very red...from the hot tingle, so i would probably need to get the cool tingle. Also is there anything that i need to not use that will "strip" my tan? I have heard that shaving creams, and lotions and soaps will strip your tan?

    ii would say, don't tan. it causes melanoma. and especially since you are pale skinned. it increases your chance of cancer.

alll rightey! don't listen to people and their skin cancer melanoma bs. those are the ones who dont understand the sun and its vitamins vs people who are RETARDED about it. 1) NEVER use a tanning bed. did you know they're so bad they're banned in brazil? yep! 2) to build a tan with self tanner use victoria's secret instant self tanner with tint lotion. best thing ever 3) go in the sun from 9am-12pm. then get the hell out and only return at 4 pm. when you're IN the sun you put sunscreen on your face after 40 minutes and on your moles the entire time. also use something like australia gold 4 spf tanning LOTION. do not use the oil crap. it will give you the best tan of your life. 4) to maintain: do NOT soap your body the first day of tanning. use johnson & johnson baby oil and that's it. you can soap yourself the next day. happy tanning! and dont go overboard.

Don't! Short term = tan. Long term = severe wrinkles. I'm pale too, but I know how to rock it. And I have the benefit of knowing I won't EVER get premature wrinkles. Result!
