What's the best cleanser for sensitive/oily skin?

Best cleanser for sensitive skin with acne?!?

  • Soo I have pretty bad skin (not really bad, not acne all over, just in some certain areas), and my skin gets irritated by almost anything I use! So what cleanser should I use to wash my face? Please NO NUETROGENA!!!! That stuff has ruined my face by all means... every cleanser I use from them worsens my skin! So any suggestions for a natural cleanser.. I am not really looking for acne wash, I just want a cleanser to simply CLEANSE my face, not make it peel or anything else.. Suggestions? thanks!

any product with a mild exofoliant plus benzoyl peroxide should help. The combination of the 2 work very well, better than anything with salacylic acid from my experience. Generally all the main brands are good, not much better than something you'd spend tons of money on. The thing is using the product ( whichever brand you like, i prefer clean and clear) correctly. Wash you face AFTER the shower infront of a mirror so you can cover all areas of your face. Make sure that each morning you let steam open your pores. No product will work if you do not do this. If your pores are not open and ready to be cleansed, EVERY PRODUCT WILL BE USELESS. your face will be clean on top, and dirty in your pores, causing more acne. Wash your face before bed as well, I understand you may not shower at night, that's ok. Just make sure to cleanse thorougly with warm water, no cold, cold water is useless

i had the same problem, so i went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for anti-bacteria pills and a lotion that essentially makes the acne come out of the pores(if there is a choice between two solutions, a stronger one and a weaker one, choose the weaker one. the stronger one has side affects while the weaker one does not) . my mom also bought me spectro jel cleanser and moisturizer. Three months later i had beautiful skin almost completely acne free. I think you should try it and don't forget te spectro because it is meant to keep skin moisturized.

You really should be seeing an dermatologist. lf your skin is peeling, you have a serious problem that needs diagnosis. lf this is an impossibility, for whatever reason, you should talk to a cosmetologist at a large dept store make up counter, and get a more expensive product, recommended by someone who has experience, and can see you in person. But really - try to get to a dermo, before you have permanent damage on your face that you have to live with your whole life Remember, you usually get what you pay for. Cheap products have cheap ingredients. And it sounds like you may have a serious allergy to an ingredient in common drugstore products. So stop wasting money, find out what the problem is, and then deal with what you have to deal with. This is your face! lt is seen all day, everyday, for your whole life - unless you are living behind a burka. Look after it, spend the money, and get the correct product that will work for you.
