Should I get a lip piercing? What type of jewelry should I get?

Why not wait untill all this has been done? Some dentists can be picky about lip piercings because of the damage they can do to your teeth. If you do get your lip done get a ring because it will decrease the chance of your gum wearing down. Personally though, i'd wait :)

Wait until after your clinicals because you have to be careful with lip piercings. If you get the ring, it causes an identation in your lip. (like its ripping) If you get the stud, it will be able to heal better and it wont bother your lip. And since it is a bit sensitive, going to the dentist will make it worse. So def. wait. I know its a pain in the *** to wait, but it will be so much more worth it when you dont have to be going thru some crucial pain. You always dont want any piercings on your face to get infected...because the face is the first thing people look at.
