Do snake bite piercings hurt? If so how long do they hurt?

Does it hurt to get snake bite lip piercings?

  • I'm thinking about getting snake bites for my fourteenth birthday coming up in April, and i'm wondering if it hurts and what pain to expect. I don't have any piercings expect my ears.

    its just a quick pinch and a warm numbing ensation afterward :) the nervousness is the worst part. i swear it. (even if your pain tolerance is low it shouldnt hurt all too much) and if you want them enough youll get them :D

Okay, your teachers cannot tell you to take your piercings out first of all. & the definitely cannot suspend you. When I got mine done it didn't hurt at all, because my piercer lady had me swish my mouthwash for a good 5 minutes so my mouth was numb when I got it done. Just make sure you ask them if you can do that because it helps a lot!

I got my snake bites when I was about that age, I was very scared and thought it would hurt, but surprisingly it hurt way less than my ears. There is hardly any pain getting pierced, but healing can be a little painful if you fiddle with them too much. Other than that, I think you should get them done (: good luck
