What is the best way to get rid or acne?
-
I have my winter formal on the 3rd of December, and I have terrible acne on my chin area. My chin is already ugly enough without it, so I wanna get rid of it. I wash my face everyday and have tried almost every product out there. Are there any facial mask or mixes or whatever that can be made at home to help rid of this acne in less then a week???? Anything will help! Thank you!

Answer:
I use an apricot scrub and I love it. It's a scrub so it really cleans your skin well and it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed after. I usually get the target brand. Also, arbonne seasource mud mask. Don't know if they still have it though. Mud masks in general work really well for me. And moisturize your face! No matter what anyone says be sure to moisturize it!! Also, have you used Cetaphil? Because I do an it makes my skin really soft, I use both the face wash and lotion. If all else fails you could invest in a Zeno hotspot.

I would go to the doctor and ask he/ she could perscribe you something for your acne. Youll most likely be perscribed Clindamycin phospate and Benzoyl perioxide gel.

You could try going to a spa and doing a facial. They do a pore cleansing and that should help

I do have acne problem too. I have tried almost all medicine still my acne is as it is. If you have infectious acne better use antibiotics to stop infection. Try this website they have summarised how to use antibiotic and other anti acne drug.

Hello, Yes, to get rid of your acne in less than a week, it can be done. You need to start with drinking more water, then cleaning your face more. Since it seems that you do most of these things here is another method that will work for your kind of acne. Get honey and spread it over your face, doing so will remove all the oily substance from your face and along with that your acne. Here is a quick video tutorial on how to get that done:

I would get a prescription like Retin-A. Ask your dermatologist about it; it works very well. Also, use gentle cleansers and moisturizers, like Cetaphil brand.

First things first...don't overdo it. If you wash too often, you could aggravate the condition and make your skin break out worse. That said, here's what I recommend: First, find a gentle facial cleanser that works for you. (Everyone's skin responds differently to different products, so find one that your skin responds well to.) I might suggest a simple Neutorgena facial bar. Whatever you choose, make sure it does NOT contain alcohol because this will dry out your skin and actually make you produce more oil. You want something that will cleanse your skin but not strip away your natural oils - thus causing more oil and more acne. Once you find the product your skin likes, cleanse twice per day. Only do more if you've been sweating a lot (i.e. like playing sports) but even then you can just wash off with a wet washcloth to get the excess sweat off. Next, exfoliate regularly. This depends on your skin type. Exfoliating your skin will help remove dead skin cells that get trapped because of too much sebum (oil) on your skin - causing pores to get clogged...thus forming acne. Most people think that by scrubbing their skin, they will get rid of their blemishes but you could be doing too much. I recommend: With oily skin, you should exfoliate 3-5 per week. If you have dry or sensitive skin, only once per week; Normal skin would be everyday. Finally, you could also use benzoyl peroxide regularly. BP is very effective for different kinds of acne but you need to use it on a consistent basis. Once to twice per day, everyday. Start off slow and work up to twice per day. Also, please note that it is not necessary to use a 10% solution. The trick is to use the lowest concentration regularly. I would recommend a 2.5% concentration. Only if your skin is really, really oily should you use the 10% solutions. Tip: if you choose a facial cleanser with BP, do not use a topical BP with it. This is too much BP and will dry you out, irritate you, and break you out more. Depending on how bad your breakout is right now will depend on how quickly it clears up. I think that if you go with the simple regimen described above, it will help and should lessen the problem in time. And, the Benzoyl Peroxide should help the acne quite quickly - but please do not put it on every half hour...be gentle and patient and hopefully, you won't have to worry about your skin for your winter formal. Good luck!!!
