What is awesome quality henna?

Buying good quality henna in east london (Upton Park area)?

• May sound like a dumb question as upton park/green street is such a heavily asian populated area, but ive never bought henna before (want it for my hair, as i started suffering severe hair dye reactions) Have found out I need pure body art quality, I must be able to get this in green street, but what shops? (Dont want to go into say asian food shop, ask for it and they're like, uh no love, try the hair shop) You know what I mean what kind of shop do they sell it in? Thanks so much!!

  hi you should be able to get henna from a large asian supermarket....your more likely to find henna for hair in the supermarket then the tubed henna for the hands! just browse around first, they are normally kept with the hair oils... and if you can't find it just ask do not use black hair henna as sometimes its not natural. i don't know any branded ones but just try one, they will vary from golden tones to red tones. it will come as a green powder and you have to mix it with warm water then apply it to your hair ..the smell is awful but result is brilliant, remember to wear gloves as it will stain your hands. good luck! :)
