Your best bet is to use something with tea tree oil in it as this can act as an anti sceptic and help get rid of spots, I'm doing a beauty therapy course and i suffer with oily skin, all the products i use have tea tree oil in them and it reduces spot size and clear up some of the oil, its great :D Hope I helped :)

I had this problem for a while but started taking birthcontrol and it went away. You should probably see a dermatologist before it gets any worst. You probably have cystic acne and I know how horrible it is and its usually hormonal or genetic. Sometimes they will describe you a special cream that increases cell turnover. In the mean time you should use something that contain sacylic acid because it helps unclog the skin. A simple gentle cleanser cannot clear the pores.

Whatever you use just be aware that a lot of products out there contain harsh chemicals that over time could make your acne worse of make you age quicker.(Proactive, Olay etc) Also they are very bad for the INSIDE of your body. I would recommend going to a spa that offers Eminence Organic Skincare line. They use a detoxifying mask on the skin that helps to remove toxins and bacteria and help to de congest the skin. This all will help lessen your problems with acne prone skin. Good Luck!

Select the one with the fewest chemicals and keep hands away from face.

What used to work for me before I built up a resistance: Clean and Clear Advantage Kit. I honestly cannot say anything else on here is going to work except for this. It worked for me for 2 years before I built up a resistance to the benzoyl peroxide. I wish I could beg you in person, this stuff is the cheapest and best stuff on the market. Use all of it as told and you should get results. I suggest this for you mostly because its affordable and strong, it worked about as well as the expensive things and WAY better than Proactiv. What I do after visiting a derm: Use Cetaphil. It has fewer chemicals and is less harsh. Also get the Burt's Bees Peach and Willow-bark scrub (both are available at WalMart) only use the scrub once because it spreads bacteria if you use it to much. Also, drink a lot of water, and mix in some baking soda with your Cetaphil to get a more gritty, deep, clean. Quick fixes to drying out huge pimples are putting dabs of toothpaste on them overnight, it'll temporarily fix the issue, but don't do it to much. I would try to see a dermatologist. Insurance would pick it up and they give you drug cards for all the medicine so its super cheap. It really really helped me.

First off, best way to deal with the current pimple, is to take an ice cube and keep it on the pimple for 5 minutes and replace it every couple of hours or so, on the day that he is coming over. If you have a green concealer it is best for pimples because it really hides the redness well. So after using ice to through out the day, put on the green concealer and then a foundation on top of that, which matches your skin. If you don't have the make up the ice should at least get the swelling, redness, and top to go down. The best thing that my friend ever told me that worked for her is an acne face mask. But only for oily skin. Find an acne cleanser that has a face mask. Use that as often as it says you should. You could have acne for many reasons, but the best way to deal with them some times is not use any products for like a week, or only use one brand like clean and clear, or proactive. Proactive has a lot of good results, but I personally have only used clean and clear and it works really well.

Look for a product that contains benzoyl peroixide 2.5% Neutrogena makes an on the spot treatment that is like that. No regular soap/cleanser and moisturizer is going to clear up your skin. You need to use something with benzoyl peroxide or salasylic acid. There are many products on the market that are available at both walgreens or walmart. If you go to a walgreens perhaps the person in cosmetics can help you choose a product or products.
