Why do black women have scars/lines on their cheeks?
-
im not being rude at all here i work in a customer service environment, i have recently noticed quite a few black women with scars on their face many with lines on their cheeks or crosses anyone know what this means or why its done? it really interests me, but i wouldnt want to offend someone in asking them personally if its a personal belief

Answer:
Do you mean scars or lines just from age or is it from something that looks like it was put there? Africans and African-Americans have very dry skin by nature and it's a lot easier to see wrinkles or scarring if you have dry skin. If it's from something manual then perhaps it's a group they belong to.
