ok it will sound really silly : -put yogurt on if you have ever been burned when you were a child by the sun your mom might have put yogurt on your body to cool it. if you put a big spoon of yogurt on your face like you are using a mask, keep it for 5-10 minutes and do that once a day you will see amazing difference in a week. it helps cause it makes your skin less oily -also a bit of home made lime (or lemon) juice mixed with water will help before ur make up: you put a bit in your face -avoid contact with eyes- wait 5 minutes and then apply foundation or whatever u use. it stays longer and it is good for your skin as well. -also salt. use salt (but -i don't know if i am going to say it right- fat salt not thin the one that we use mostly in food) it is like the best scrub -put ur face above boiling water for about 5-8 minutes (u can move away to breath better) and it works like "sauna" for ur face and makes the edges of the pimples show so that you can "destroy" them better, easier and without leaving scares probably your scars won't go away but this will help ur skin "calm down", be less oily and have less spots and pimples

First of all you need to try to stop stressing out! Get lots of exercise, eat well and do some relaxation techniques. The stress from the wedding mixed with the stress from your acne is causing more acne. Second, I'm not sure what you're doing to get rid of the pimples but if you pick at them or try to extract them you're going to end up making them worse. The best way to help your face is to follow a proper cleansing regime. Cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day and add exfoliation and a masque for your skin type to that twice a week. That should help. As for the scars, I suggest booking an appointment with an esthetician at a local spa to get advice for the scars and maybe a facial.

You should wash your face periodly, don't eat greasy foods, use acne soap

Chelated zinc cured my acne completely....and for the acne scars I recommend using Ambi's skin care line.

hi, i also have severe acne but i take medication for it because it got extremely bad (i'm 18). you should do these things: wash your face twice a day morning and night with a acne cleanser, i use neutrogena and it works for me. don't pick at your pimples because that will leave scars. use a acne treatment gel on your pimples use moisturizer after you wash your face avoid makeup containing oils look for hypoallergenic makeup. drink LOTS of water i definitely helps stress also causes acne, so maybe you are just really stressed right now. These things work for me, i hope they work for you too :)

your breaking out because youre stressed out. Most people are before their wedding. But use Clearasil pads or clearasil face wash. You can get it at walmart. good luck

If you're getting lots of spots and acne it could be an idea to go and see your GP. There's a range of medications and treatments that you can get that will not only bring your spots down without resulting in more scars and even help fade the scars. The strength of the medication depends on the severity of your acne, they could just give you some cream or maybe some simple tablets or you may be sent to see a dermatologist you will perscribe something stronger like Roaccutane. Roaccutane is serious stuff but it helps, within a month you'll spots will be gone and your skin will continue to clear. The treatment usually lasts 6 months of taking the tablets once a day. After the 6 months or however long you're on it your skin will continue to clear and the acne doesn't come back. Maybe one or two now and then but no more breakouts.

Ok I tell my clients to try this so try this. Take Dawn Dish Soap place a q-tip in the dish soap and dot the zit at bed time by morning you should notice that the Dawn has suck the oil from the Zit. Hows that for a home treatment. If your a bir scared to do this. at least try on one zit and watch your results. Tooth paste is good to use as well. You can take 1-cup of oatmeal place in a bowl. Now pour 5-cups of hot hot tap water over the oatmeal and stir untill milky. Set bowl aside for at least 30 minutes. Drain the water off the oatmeal into another bowl. The water in the bowl you want to use to rinse your face. it is filled with vitimins and minerals that will make your skin Glow.

Sometimes I give my face a good long steam using my hot steam humidifier at home (not a cold mist one) or a pot of hot water: I''ll put my face right over the water with a towel draped over my head to create a tent that holds in the heat and steam. Either way, I do it before a shower so any dead/dry skin or scar is softened and ready to be washed away; also this tends to bring any acne to a 'head' that can be dealt with. I only exfoliate gently with a washcloth so I don't give myself a rub rash after steaming. It's good to use an acidic pH facial cleanser, as your skin is acidic in nature. Using alkaline products strips your skin of it's natural moisture that comes from it's acid balance. Try Neutragena Pore Refining cleanser or Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo on your face. Good pH will help keep your skin clear. To combat acne from the inside, give your skin everything it needs to stay healthy by taking a multivitamin, a mineral supplement with calcium/magnesium/zinc, fish oil, and vitamin E. Stay away from sugar for awhile and go as light as you can on makeup products to give your skin a break. Stay well hydrated so your skin looks fresh. For over the counter products, you might try a scar-lightening serum or cream, dabbed onto your scars and not the skin around them. A mineral clay mask might be of help or not, it seems to vary but they're fun to do and usually smell nice. These are the things I do at home, and people usually guess I'm about 8 years younger than I really am. It might be genetics or it might be my routine...I don't know. Best wishes to you on your wedding day!

Oh, gosh ... I wish I had your problem. My face was seriously scarred from acne as a teen and still is to a degree. One thing that really helped was swimming. I found after a few months or years of concerted swimming that miraculously a lot of the scars had gone away. I felt it was like dermabrasion, which you can have done by a dermatologist. You probably don't have enough time for the swimming angle. I don't remember how long the positive effects took to show up on my face, but it also helped rid me of pimples for all time, though I still try to swim whenever I can. I think it's the chlorine which helps dry up pimples and clean out pores, and also smooth scars. You'll find that more in YMCA-type pools, I believe, which are heavily chlorinated rather than in development pools, although any swimming is good for you. Also, after years of suffering under a sulfur compound and other treatments dermatologists did in those days, I finally found another simple approach, at least for getting rid of pimples: honey. Maybe you know about this one. If you put honey on a pimple before you go to bed at night, it is often greatly reduced or gone by morning. It is a natural antibiotic, so I think that's the reason, as pimples apparently are hotbeds of bacteria. But the reason I said I wish I had your problem is you must have really wonderful skin to want to not go out even with only four scars. I'm sure your fiance loves you regardless. I personally do not know of any cure for scars ... I still have some from when I had chicken pox as a child. I wish you the best of luck. It's hard to relate because I think if I had your skin I'd be in heaven, but I hope others have better ideas for you so you can walk down that aisle looking absolutely perfect.
