Answer:
i shave my arms and the hairs accually grow back thinner. you just think they are thicker because they are stubbly. and i have used to smooth away and it burns like a mother.

My sis had it, I tried it on my arm and it didn't work.
i heard smooth away works wonders and about arm hair my friends, my sisters, and i have been shaving our arms for years and the hair can take from 4 months to three days to grow back in stubble it's not that dark--unless you naturally have dark hair like hispanic hair-- it will grow back darker because of the lack of lightening in color due to sun exposure and the myth that hair grows back thicker after being shaved off is false
Well my mom tried it and she has damn hairy legs.LOL.But it did work.
NO... my mom bought it for me a while back and it didnt even work... >8[ i got mad
I haven't personally tried it but my cousin did and it didn't work. I would suggest that you just stick with shaving or using a cream to remove hair. AND actually, it is a complete myth that if you shave your arms, legs, bikini line, etc.. that it will grow back darker and thick. It is a complete lie. Just fyi. Good Luck!
shaving doesnt make your hair grow back any thicker or darker. it's a myth. if it was true - all girls would have fur for leg hair. the smooth away does work, it takes much much much longer than shaving and doesn't always get all the hairs try nair (the cream hair remover) it works great, doesn't hurt, doesn't take much time. the only thing is that it smells bad. like burning hair but it goes away when you wash it off so pretty much don't waste your money on smooth away like i did
Actually it does work really well. It seems like sandpaper that would hurt, but it's not scratchy at all. You rub in a couple circles & the hair is all gone. I haven't used it on the arms, but it shouldn't be any different than shaving as far as it growing back. The only downside is that the pads don't last too long & it's $10 for a package.
