Cure scars?

Existing scars left over from acne can be treated in a number of ways. If scars are not too severe, a chemical peel can be applied to the skin. This effectively removes the microscopic top layer of the skin allowing the cells underneath to rejuvenate. More severe scarring can be treated with lasers or dermabrasion. Lasers remove the damaged layer of skin and tighten the skin underneath to raise the depression caused by the scar. The process can be mildly painful so the dermatologist may use an anesthetic to numb the pain. The healing process after laser treatment takes about 3 to 10 days. Dermabrasion removes scars by actually scraping away the surface of the skin where the scarring occurs. During the healing process a new layer of skin is formed to replace the scarring. Both dermabrasion and laser treatments can cause the skin to turn red, but this discolorment will disappear after several months.--- Hopes this Helps =]

well, i dont know of any home remedies, but i do know they sell special lotions that help to get rid of scars. hope this helps. : )

Hey there :) I don't know what type of scars you would like to know how to get rid of, but I know that rosehip oil does a really good job. I haven't tried it on any cut or burn scars or surgical scars but I have tried it on my acne scars and even after a week of applying it before you go to bed you can see results. I have read that it will work on more serious scarring but it will take a little longer. If you prefer a natural solution, give it a go. sorry i cant help, i have two on my right hand, 1 on my thumb (i got it from putting my hand though a glass door, i forgot to use the handle, it slashed the hell out of my hand), 1 on my palm, (i got it from climbing, there was a rusty nail on a rock, it went right though my bone, and i had to run to a hospital with it)

tried and tested = bio-oil works a treat! a little bit pricey but it lasts a while and works well for most kinds of scar x

Place sliced raw potato on the face. It helps reduce blemishes and other marks. Dried orange peels mixed with curd also help reduce blemishes and scars. Wash off this mixture with cold water after 15 minutes.

Put a mild pressure on the scar, it may take several months depending how big the scar is.

i have no idea if these work but ive been told them and i spose i should try them one day... honey lemon juice nutmeg and honey i think your supose to smear them over the scar ?? good luck
