Does anyone know a good tattoo shop/parlor in NYC?

Anyone know a good tattoo artist in Los Angeles willing to come to my residence?

    Sorry but that cannot happen. It's illegal for a tattoo artist to tattoo someone out of the shop. I can't think of any reasons you cannot do it in a shop, it's not like they do it where everyone can see you they do take you to a room. Some places will have a few people in a room at a time if they are really busy or something. The place I get mine done does that and yes they are really sanitary and they are always busy with what seems to be hundreds of people so don't say that is very unsanitary. Anyways, good luck. You will just have to face your fears or w/e and get out there. You'll do it if you really want it. Don't do it yourself or anything because I have seen homemade tattoos and they are just plain ugly.

Sorry but tattoos shouldn't be done in a home, it's just not sanitary enough and you could have a risk of getting an infection.

99% of professional Tattooers will not make a house call. (Unless you're family or really good friends) If it's a privacy issue, some shops have private rooms. Better yet, you can find a private, appointment only studio. these are not cheap.

Besides what everyone else said, it is extremely dangerous for the artist. They don't know what they are walking into. They would be carrying expensive equipment and could be ripped off or worse.

We can't do that, for legal reasons. A studio is set up to be sanitary. If your home doesn't have the proper stuff to be up to code, including no entryways from the living area, we can't do it. Sorry about that.
