Any good ideas for lyric tattoos?

What are some good ideas for matching tattoos? (For best friends)?

  • We've been best friends for about 10 years and we're practically part of each others family. So I don't have to worry about our friendship ending and regretting the tattoos. It won't happen. So don't tell me it's a bad idea. I have an open mind, give me any cute & creative ideas for the tats! =D

    It would be a mistake. No matter how close you are now something unforeseeable could happen in the future that changes your relationship and the last thing you would want would be a tattoo that reminds you of that person. Why can't you just be friends without getting matching tattoos?

yea .. it could happen .. and it does .. people often stab "best friends" in the back o almost got a matching tattoo with my ex-bestfriend a year ago and shes screwing my now ex .. im glad i didn't go through with that one .. just think about it ..

My best friend and I celebrated ten years of friendship by getting matching ladybug tattoos on the side of our calves. Kind of a strange location, but I really like it. People always notice it for the first time and tell me how cute it is. And now I live 12 hours away from her for school. I miss her a lot, but every time I see my tat I think of her and it makes me happy! We chose a ladybug because we both really like them. I remember when we were little girls and we always were really excited to find a ladybug outside.

It can be anything, and it is best if it has to do with you both. You can do something,... say,.. like both getting a butterfly, but each in a different color, or a different type, or both the same. You could do a ladybug or a poison dart frog, or a leaf, or a flower. You could draw something up together, an object or symbol, or a doodle. You could pick any image or picture or symbol and both get it the same or altered a bit or one get 1/2 and the other get the other half - like a puzzle piece. You can get nicknames of the other, or a word that only you two know the story behind. You could get something that represents an event that you both participated in, or a goal that you have talked about, or something silly. You could get something out of your childhood that you both remember and smile about. I would say that you should each start writing down every single thing that you can think of and then talk about images to go with the ideas. luck~

do you have a favorite song that you both like? lyrics or a quote that describes you both would be good, or get a tiny character that symbolizes you and your friend and get that tattooed. i could draw somethings up if you like. just let me know. [email protected]

Hmm well the first thing i thought of was maybe like the ying and yang sign? one of you could have one half, and one of you have the other. I think that would be really cute. hope thats a good idea to you (:
