How does is feel to get a tattoo?

i'm getting my first tattoo on sunday. In memorial of my father. It will be down the left side of my ribs and around 6-7 inches. Could you give me a few things to expect?

Well first of all ribs is a very painful spot to get a tattoo.. especially if its your first one.. If you have a high pain tolerance it will feel like bee stings at first and then it will start to go numb.. If its lower the bee sting feeling will linger the entire time.. I know from experience.. I now have 3 tats the first one is always the worst..

Rib tats are the most painful. For your first tat you should get it on your stomach if you want it over a large area.
