Does anyone know the meaning of this tattoo quote?

  • My friend recently got a tattoo, she told me she came up with the quote herself and has alot of meaning to her. The quote is, "i found my flight in a whirlwind" . Now i asked her what it meant, but she told me that she wasn't going to explain it to those who didn't get it the first time, and it was my job to realise its meaning. I am absolutely stunned, does anyone know what this quote's meaning is?

    By her answer it sounds like she's not totally sure of the meaning herself and didn't want to br proven wrong by explaining it. Personally I would interpret it as finding one's path in life through unconventional/difficult means. If she won't explain then take it however you want, it doesn't matter all that much does it.

A whirlwind is crazy and messy, so I would assume it means something like her life path is down the crazy and hectic route. So she likes partying and going wild and doesn't take the conventional route.
