Any good ideas for ear tattoos?

so im mostly full up my ears are sort of the final frontier (anywhere that im planning on getting inked anyways) and i was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for what i should put there. i have a real oldschool motif mostly a lot of nautical sailor jerry type stuff, its a small area so im having a hard time thinking of something that wont blur or smudge or anything. really im just looking for inspiration, thanks!

Maybe a crescent moon, like with all of the craters incorporated into it? It'd be in the shape of your ear and not look as awkward as something extremely detailed.
