First tattoo advice please?

First Tattoo Advice...On the wrist. Help? Please and thank you (:?

  • So...I'm thinking about getting a tattoo. My first one at that...I really want the word "Love" in cursive and all pretty and stuff on my left wrist..I don't want it to be too big, but large enough. So, I was wondering about how long would this take to do? And how bad would it hurt. I know everyones pain tolerence is different and I am 15. But it's somthing I want.. c:

    all tattoos hurt but mine wasnt that bad i got forever young on my left wrist and it took 2 hours so love shouldnt take long

First of all, you're too young to get it at any licensed place in the U.S. I got my first 2 when I was 17 (where it was legal to be 17 with an adult), so don't worry I'm not going to ***** about you being too young to want tattoos, since I'm still only 18. I would just say that make sure it's something that means something to you. I have on tattoo on each wrist that has my 2 brother's initials. They only took about 10 minutes or less. The pain wasn't that bad, but there were times where I flinched.lol I think "Love" might be just a tad bit tacky, so I would go with a word that means something to you, like an inside joke Between family members.
