Will white tattoo ink glow under a black light?

A little about UV/Black light tattoo ink?

  • I want to use the ink to fill-in the open space on my sleeves. I like the idea of using the ink to have lightning as the filler. I've heard/read the ink itself is almost invisible in regular light and that's cool since i would eventually be looking for a job. While searching around I found Crazy Chameleon was repeatedly found in different searches, is this a good ink for my idea. Oh, since I've come realize that's certain colors doesn't hold well to darker skin. Any ideas on what ink would be a good choice for darker skin and less visible in standard light would be a huge help.

  • Answer:

I heard that ink hasn't been approved by the FDA and that it causes a lot of problems. Just thought I would tell you.

ok, I wanna say first that your tattoo is awesome. Second, the glow in the dark ink is very risky to use at all, since their are so many adverse reactions its not the best idea to use. My thoughts on black light ink are like this: It is approved by the FDA currently (at least the crazy chameleon brand is). The scarring(where the tattoo ink is put in your skin) could still make your tattoo show up. Even in the sunlight. Think of it as a raised indention, everywhere the ink was used would show even though the ink technically wouldn't. THERE IS STILL risk of a severe or moderate skin irritation. Chameleon blacklight ink is good. don't get royal dragon ink, it causes the color to turn yellow. hope this helps
