Ideas for henna tattoo?

What to do instead of a tattoo? Creative people help!?

  • I have been thinking about getting a tattoo for many years now & I love the idea of getting one because it's art on your body & it's something personal to you that you get to show off to everyone(story). However I'm also a really indecisive & I'm not good with commitment. I have a ton of ideas on what kinds of tattoos I'd get,but don't know if I'd want them on my body forever & I don't want to ever regret one that I would get. Most of the ideas I have are words,but they do mean a lot to me & I still want to show them off to people as a way to express myself. Is there something else I could do that wouldn't be permanently on my body or cost a lot of money? I know you can do henna,but I'd rather not waste money on something I might want longer than that lasts. Can I make something,maybe like jewelry,& put my tattoo ideas on that? I would do that,but I'm not the best at making things & I kinda suck at art. I just want an easy cheap way to express myself the way I want. Any ideas?

    Fabric paint and t-shirts. You can always do the henna yourself and test ‘drive’ what you want. Take pictures so if you do go the permanent route, your artist can duplicate your henna work.

You could always get one of those tattoos that glow under a black light. You can't see them in the sun, but walk into a club with a black light and you light up like a star.

Why make it, lots of jewelry that can be engraved is already made. Start with "Things Remembered".

I understand how you feel. some people are unsure before they get one. Ive now got 4. I dont regret any because i planned them well and i can cope with them forever. You can get them removed with lazer treatment but that costs a lot. Tattoo prices depend on what you get. If youve been thinking about getting one. you could maybe draw one on and see what you think of it?. But if you are looking for another creative way of showing your ideas, im not sure if there are many ways. You could do jewelry yes. Like a bracelet or necklace with little letters on as you want words. Im trying to think of other ways but i cant :(. Sorry. x Good luck
