Tattoo suggestions, from professional tattoo artists?

I will be turning 18 soon, and I really want a tattoo. I will most likely get it on the top of my foot. But im not sure what to have it say. I want it to be about the struggles i have been through so ar in my life. My mom has a lot of health problems, she is suicidal and i have walked in on her trying to killing herself before, and i mean, i want my tattoo to represent that i have been through a lot and i am very strong from it. I dont want it to have my moms name it or even mom. I want it as a quote sort of. And i want a picture to go along with it. I am just trying to get some ideas of what to have it say, Im not looking to come in and have you draw it up right now or anything, i am just looking around for different ideas, and considering tattoo artists are creative i figured id ask a few. I also want something that is uncommon. i dont want something that everyone has. you know? Please help me out with some ideas. thank you for your time.
