Did you ever get a tattoo removed?

Is there anyway to get my tattoo removed? PIC!?

  • Picture will be at bottom. I don't exactly feel like spending thousands to have it removed. It wasn't done professionally...but it is a good looking tattoo to not be done professionally. I think its pretty and i'm satisfied with it...but I simply want a more classy look. Is there ANYWAY to have it removed besides laser? Also...is it possible to go have a skin toned colored tattoo put over it? To cover it? That seems cheaper...idk if its possible though.

Why don't you just get a cover up tattoo and yeah some places do the skin tone tattoo but it will fade over time so you're gonna have to get it touched up in later years and it will hurt a little bit more this time because the tattoo is scar tissue. Ring around some places and explain your story to them and ask them do they do the skin tone tattoo.

There are 2 ways to remove a tattoo: surgical removal by a plastic surgeon or laser treatment by a reputable clinic. Skin color tattooed over a tattoo does not work & if you ever choose to have laser done will complicate the removal process. The scam removal creams do not work either. Do you homework online & Google "tattoo removal" for your city. Consult with 3 or more places with 5 or more years experience & can show good results of patients they have worked on. Red flag if they can only show pics from the laser companies. Good luck to you.

No there's no way to have it satisfactorily removed without laser treatment, and the only other way is to put another tattoo over it. Laser treatment is $5,000 per square inch.
