Do tattoos on the feet hurt?

Do tattoos hurt on feet?

  • Answer:

I have a few tattoos and one of them is on the foot. And it is very painful. The skin is very thin there so it hurts more than normal tattoos.

Because your skin is thin and does not have a soft cushion of fat, the nerve endings are closer to the top layer of skin. The nerve endings are sensitive because of this. If you have ever dropped something on your foot you know how bad it hurts, and this is because of the close proximity of the nerves.

I have 6 tattoos. one on my back, two on each ankle, one on my foot, one on my chest, and then i have my bakc done up alot. my foot and back were the worst. just so you know.

Tattoos Hurt anywhere you get them ! i have 7 tattoos and each one hurt but i have a high pain tolerance. they all hurt in a different way. it really depends on you and how well you can take pain.... but i wouldn't recommend getting a tattoo on feet for your 1st tattoo.

I have a big scorpion on my foot it was painful but not my most painful there is so many bones close 2 the surface so 2 me it felt more weird than painful it kinda felt like it shook my foot all the way up 2 my knee. Hip area & rib area much much more painful. But every1 takes pain different. My lower back ( tramp stamp) area tickled but 1 inch higher hurt badly but I heard from a friend her tramp stamp was extremely painful. So yes but pain verries.

its supposed to be one of the most painful places to get one due to the thin layer of skin and the bones

I bet so, your feet are very tender.
