I use Tattoo Goo. It's amazing

I have quite a few tattoos and I never use lotion until they are completely healed. Andy by that I mean a few weeks after all the scabs have come off. I use tat wax. It's not a lotion it's a clear, unscented wax that comes in a small tim. It is very good for moisturizing and it's the only thing I use. You can buy it or something similar at a tattoo shop. Try not to use lotion even cocoa butter burns...

Lubriderm/Auquaphor.

for all of mine I have used the Lubriderm unscented moisture one honestly, as long as it has NO dye and NO fragrance and definitely NO petroleum it is good to use on a tattoo

This isn't my professional opinion but the artist who did my tattoo recommended Bepanthen anti-bacterial cream and several other artists from different parlours have recommended the same to mates who have had tattoos. I was told how ever to only use it x2 a day morning and night and only use a tiny amount just enough to cover the tattoo and not to let it soak but gently rub it into the tattoo. Hope this helps
