What does this tattoo mean?

My tattoo outline is swollen? What does that mean?

  • I have had my tattoo for a year this September and just today I was rubbing an itchy area on my back near the area that my tattoo is located...within minutes the whole outline of my tattoo was swollen... about as swollen as it was the first few days that I got it. Was this caused because of the irritation or could it be something else? I put some ointment on it...will that be enough? I know it's a broad question I'm just curious.

    thats normal that happens to all tattoos the same thing happened to mine but if your really scaared about it then go to the docc . its nothinn really

one on the back of my neck does the same thing... except mine is always raised. i researched it and went to a different shop and the artists told me that the artist 'overworked' my skin.. meaning he did the tattoo way too fast and wasn't very careful.. it's not a big deal just more an annoyance than anything

You need to get it checked by a doc to make sure its not infected. Some tattoo artists are nasty and reuse needles Always do you homework when it comes to modifying your body!
