How many treatments will it take to get my tattoo removed via laser? already got one session done.?

  • How many treatments will it take to get my tattoo removed? already got one session done. It is just a circle with a face in RED ink on the top of my hand, it faded a little so i got it taken out. So far so good the red ink is disappearing but a little scar when i look at it in angle. Been one month since the procedure, next app is Late July but get it earlier on that month because i will be out of town. So just want to know how many sessions it'll take for it to be gone. I don't mind the pain. Just wanna get it removed so further down in life might not get a job with a tattoo on my hand.THANKS

    I had a laser consult once. They should have told you how long it would take. Usually for one that is more recent it'll take 5-7 average weeks. Yours is faded so it may take less time but talk to your laser surgery doctor.

red ink is the easiest the remove most take 3 to 5 sessions but depending on the brand of ink and the way your artist did it it may be more or less.
