Tattoo ink won't go into the skin.

Why is it that when i do the outline of the tattoo on some places the ink does not go in the skin first time.?

  • Answer:

Reasons: Your needles are not flush with the tip, to get ink from it... you are going too fast, or not deep enough, or both... you are not filling the tip when you initially dip into the ink, but likely, you're simply making your lines too fast. Slow down. Take your time. Also, if your ink sits out, it can thicken and clog the needle group. Solution: change needle group, and put fresh ink in a new cup.
