What is a good site for acting auditions?

Is actingcareers.com a good reliable site?

  • I'm seventeen and I have been acting for a few years and been in a couple of shows. I have recently decided that I want to start a serious career in acting. So I have been going online to search for possible auditions. I came across this one website in particular called acting careers.com which claims to help kids and teens start an acting career. My overall question is that is this site a reliable site? If not does anyone know of a good source that can help me start an acting career?

    No it's just a search farm site - it has links that if you click on them, will earn money for the site owner. I don't know where you would get good advice from, but this site has nothing to offer but links to other sites... not to say that those links aren't useful of course...

That particular site has been handed over to a domain "Parking" service to earn tiny revenues from paid directory links. It's not an active business. I started by researching the registered owner info, in 2004 the domain name was registered to a Berkly, CA address at which Google maps shows a couple of Asian restaurants with a Yoga center upstairs.
